This is deceptively simple. Just a few ingredients and the flavor is powerful. You can grill or oven roast the salmon.

Ingredients
3 Tbl. soy sauce (ideally low sodium)
2 Tbl. brown sugar or honey
3 Tbl. rice vinegar, unseasoned
Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a large shallow pan. Add the salmon and turn to coat on both sides. Salmon should sit in marinade at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.
Discard the marinade and either grill the salmon or broil on the top rack of the oven for 5-10 minutes, depending on thickness.
